Despite the 1st team starting strong, the talent of the OW's ultimately proved too much to handle as they took control in the later stages of the game.
The match was played in front of a large and enthusiastic crowd, with both sets of fans cheering on their respective teams. It was clear from the outset that this was going to be a fiercely contested encounter, with neither side giving an inch.
However, it was the OW's who struck first, taking an early lead through a well-placed shot that found the back of the net. The 1st team responded well, quickly equalizing through a well-taken goal of their own.
The match continued in this fashion, with both teams trading blows and creating plenty of chances. But it was the OW's who were able to capitalize on their opportunities, scoring three more goals to take a commanding lead.
The 1st team continued to fight until the end, but it was too little too late as the OW's held on for a deserved victory.
After the match, both teams and their supporters enjoyed a delicious brunch provided by the catering team. Despite the result, it was clear that everyone had a great time and the local rivalry was as strong as ever.
